  • Through our research at KIT, we aim to make an impact and contribute to shaping a sustainable and resilient future. A key part of this is technology transfer: through pilot projects, partnerships, and innovation platforms, our research finds its way into industrial applications. In the new issue of lookKIT, we introduce you to researchers who are actively engaged in technology transfer and showcase the innovative solutions they are developing to address the challenges of our time. These include high-performance components from 3D printers, key components for nuclear fusion reactors, and technologies for more powerful batteries. We also highlight places at KIT where science and industry come together — including the KIT Start-up Incubator and the KIT Business Club.
